So i am having my revision with the great Dr Remzi in about 6 weeks. Of course I am getting anxious and questions start popping up in my head about the surgery and if i would end up with the same complications I have gone through with my 7 year old pouch, so I emailed him expecting maybe a short email back in several weeks from him or most likely his nurse. An hour after I sent that email, Dr Remzi calls me on the phone at work !! wtf? lol. He told me that he was sitting in a cab in Chicago in traffic and received my email and said rather than email me back he would just call.. We spoke for about 10 minutes and he answered all my questions and put my mind at ease....again!!. He is very confident in fixing me and making my jpouch right. He is assured all my issues are mechanical, and all the other issues were products of my initial surgery and the leaks and infections i dealt with then. I love this surgeon. He is very caring and so confident.
