i have had problems from day one. I feel like something must have gone wrong. There is so many who don't have problems or not till later. Is there a way to redo the pouch? I can't afford to travel to Cleveland. I live in Iowa, even the mayo in Mn would be a three hour drive. But if I knew they could fix me I would drive it. I don't want a bag and neither does my husband. The flaygl/cipro combo isn't working anymore. I don't have the strength to fight this anymore.

Halo, you need someone to help you figure out what's wrong first. You're hinting that it's antibiotic-resistant pouchitis, but if all you've used is Cipro/Flagyl you've left a lot of options untried. Do you have a good gastroenterologist?
No he gave up on me and then retired. I'm going to the university of Iowa February 9th to a new one. I'm praying he can help me. I just don't understand why some don't have problems and some do.
