Which Mayo/Cleveland Clinic Location? | The J-Pouch Group

I am looking into going to Mayo for advice and treatment of pouchitis. This is my second case of pouchitis. It came quickly after finishing the Cipro and Flagyl treatment from my first case. I want to try and be proactive and visit Mayo (or Cleveland Clinic) to try and get the best game plan to help prevent reoccurring pouchitis. Has anyone had luck with a particular Mayo or Cleveland Clinic location?

Dr Bo Shen at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio is my doctor. He has a pouch clinic with approx 2500 pouch patients currently.

Thank you, Kate! I've seen his name often. Seems like I need to schedule with him.

Yes his clinic is busy and takes awhile to get in now.

I am not a big fan of his NP at all but he is a wonderful doctor with lots of knowledge.

I had a great GI at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN named Edward Loftus Jr. He is the head of the IBD Clinic there.

Yes I was referred to him by my local GI due to the cuffitis that wouldn't go away.
