When I look online or a pharmacy, I notice that there are a few types of Imodium like the gel cap or the liquid or the different types of tablets. Which ones are best to use? What do all of you use?
Imodium is a bowel slower. Pepto Bismol is an effective treatment for pouchitis but I would not use it for other than that reason even if it does halt diarrhea from inflammation. Bismuth is a toxic metal that is fatal to bacteria, and you don't want to overload your liver with it more than you need to.
