Pouchitis, SIBO, anal fissures, c-diff, during the last four months I gave been diagnosed with them all. The pain is intense and I have no pain killers until tomorrow. I am keeping my spirits up by doing silly somewhat childish things. Any other suggestions? I can't walk but I can move my arms and torso.

wow you are having your share of issues all at once ..so sorry have had all the above myself ..no fun ..but i do not understand your questions and you can only move hands and torso?

if you have c-diff vancomycin 10 days should clear that up..sibo,pouchitis...antibiotics could or should help vancomycin for c-diff probably will work for pouchitis as well as c-diff..which needs to be treated first..some of us are also trying a diet eliminating starches and refined sugar which we fel has some degree of success for us in curbing the above..

not sure when you are having pain..in eliminating a lot? i use vicodin as my go to pain killer..always have them in my medicine cabinet..never without them..eatting plain and more bland might be in order in general while having sibo and pouchitis..

hoping you get some relief soon..i take anti depressions since 04 with uc and my pouch issues i do think they have helped me cope with ongoing chronic conditions..you might want to look into that if all this continues or some temporary anxiety meds..chronic conditions those of us suffer with our pouches is very difficult on us not only physically but mentally..i am sure i would be far worse mentally if i did not have the above..
Get Norco 10/325, up to 4 per day. I got rid of c-diff with flagyl, but it took several courses. Tramadol will not cut the pain, it is just slightly better than tylenol, in my experience. If you notice 10 of the hydrocodone is too much you can cut the pills in half. Get a month's supply. There is no reason to be in pain. Don't take a pain pill until you are in pain and you will not have an addiction problem. I still need pain medication but am down to just one to 2 pills most days now.

Been there, done that and still having problems unfortunately Frowner
I feel for you and think your doctor deserves a big case of anal fissures himself. Has anyone elses doctor refused to give them pain medication for this painful condition? We have a zillion nerve cells there......

I've sat in hot baths, hot tubs, epsom salt baths, used heating pads, ice packs and I've ate liquid and soft foods only so that my BM's would be as loose as possible.

I understand not taking NSAIDs as they promote bleeding. How much blood flow would be restricted if you got pain relief? Would it cause you to not heal at all? Slow your healing from 2 weeks to 4 weeks or what? I'm not buying it, but I'm not a doctor. If I were you I'd go to my GP and get a prescription for pain relief as this doctor is nuts! Don't take my advice, I'm an accountant! I haven't had fissures but I've had cuffitis, pouchitis, c-diff, IPS, adhesions, tailbone/pouch pain when all is inflamed and I've had 3-4 of these concurrently too.

I really feel for you, don't know what else to tell you to do, and unless you live in a state that has legalized weed.
