Wow cool! I never heard of body armour, looks cool!! How much fluids/water do you drink per day? I do a gallon
water with Crystal Light lemonade. No Sugar Gatorade when I know I will be sweating a lot. As a reenactor I also drink Switchel also known a Farmers Punch.
This recipe makes about 4 cups
- 4 slices of ginger
- 3 3/4 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 to 1 whole lemon
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey
Add 4 slices of ginger to 1 cup of water and pour into a small pot and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool.
After it cools, pour into a container and add rest of the water, apple cider vinegar, juice form 1/2 a lemon, and honey. You can adjust the lemon and honey to your taste and store in fridge for up to week.
I love this and could drink a gallon of it! Hope you like it!
I am surprised nobody mentioned Nuun. Back when I was in a CCFA support group literally everyone in it was drinking Nuun. And they were all very active, our Moderator who had a J pouch was biking 60 miles regularly. I think Nuun is sugarless.
The sugarless Gatorade is also good, and very accessible.
Is anybody using Biolyte? It's doctor formulated and basically and IV in a bottle.
Always water. Never used a sport drink of any kind.
I’ve been using Liquid IV since my procedure and have liked it as an alternative to just straight water. Nuun is another solid pick for me. Both options have very low sugar content.
I drink mostly water, but also drink Gatorade G2, less sugar than regular Gatorade.
I drink sugar free Gatorade but mostly watered down more than recommended saccharine powder drink.not sure how safe saccharine is.
