was told NO time release capsules anymore. They will just go right through you. I had to switch from Effexor XR to the regular Effexor. Hope this helps you out.

No time released, slow release, coated or any pills that say 'stomach safe'...that just means that they take longer to 'melt' in your digestive system and you risk 'spitting them out' whole...
Liquid, normal tablets, gelcap, effervecent, softgels etc ...or you may not get the dose that you need.

*Some* slow release formulations are fine for J-pouchers, but your doc needs to verify that they are designed to be released and absorbed in the small bowel. If your transit time is very fast that can also create a problem.

Wiggles, stop worrying about the "what if's". You are creating problems before they exist. The expert said "usually", it's just as easy to believe the odds are in your favor.
