I was just at my primary care and I am overweight. She talked about the injections. Has anyone who has a Jpouch used them? Is it ok? Is it bad? Will it make me sick? I wanted to reach out here before my colorectal team. I am very uncomfortable with my body and I just need to see what I have to do and what options I have!

I’m on the same situation. I haven’t tried any of the shots yet. I did use Adipex in the past and did not have any problems. It is my understanding that you may have some nausea after the injection, but that can be minimized if you do the shot at night. That’s just what I’ve been told by several friends who are currently taking the injections.
I was on Ozempic-my stomach emptied so slowly after dosage was increased that it almost seemed like a bowel ileus. Sick and in hospital until it wore off. Couple years later, tried Wegovy. 1st step up in dose, same thing a few weeks. This is just me though. Meds affect everyone differently. I will not touch them again.
