Hello, had a question concerning this subject and hoped I could get an answer.

As far as leg workouts go, has anyone had any issue w/ squats and so on ? I just have this image in my mind that I'm going to attempt to squat 135+ pounds and it's going to go all bad once I get to the bottom.

Got my pouch in '86 and have been lifting regulary since.

Only caution is while I don't know if there is proof, there does seem to be a fair number of hernias discussed on this site. It might not be statistically significant vs the pouch population, but I had one a couple of years back.

Keep an eye out for hernias and progress slowly, but I think you ought to be ok.
