Re: VSL#3 probiotic

Is anyone familiar with this product? It is suppose to be specifically for colitus and pouch

health. Dealing with a severe case of pouchitus. Advertisements indicate it is a great product. Does anyone have any input?

It's not used to treat active severe pouchitis. You need to treat the pouchitis first and once that is done, consider using it prophylactically to keep pouchitis away.

I think VSL #3 DS helped me stay off antibiotics for a couple of years. I still use it at maximum dose (4 packets/day), and it keeps trouble away.
