Hi, 46 year old male, 16 year J-Poucher here. This is a great forum, thank you all. I'm generally healthy and like most, I am usually dehydrated and vitamin deficient. I tried regular, swallow vitamins but am fairly certain nothing gets absorbed and I get regular "mini-blockage" situations. If I take 3 or 4 vitamins, even with the gelatin casing, I get more severe blockages, but not severe for hospital. Extended release tabs, forget about it - straight into the toilet.
I really want to take supplements, fish oil, ginger, turmeric, mostly. I also really want to take a good men's multi vitamin. Should I go liquid? Chewable? Something I don't know about? I'm wide open to suggestions and experiences. I'm also combing through the forum here, just thought I'd share with you and am hoping to continue learning and living a good J Pouch life!
