At some point I'll stop mentioning at the start of every post that I can't believe all I am learning in here! But I continue to be enlightened!

I searched on posts about vitamins, as well as extended release pills. First thing tomorrow I am making an appt with my doc to change from Effexor ER to regular Effexor. I should have known!

About vitamins....I take Centrum Silver and B-Complex and still have no energy. I've read the posts about liquid and chewable vitamins. Makes sense!

I'm always at a loss, though, about what vitamins to take, how much and when. I'd love to know the magic mix! Any recommendations would be appreciated. I am particularly interested in fast absorption/liquid/chewables.

Thanks, in advance.

When I am home (the US) I go to a nutrition center and buy the housebrand adult chewables...some big multi-market stores carry them too and I like the ladies versions that they have (seemed to help me a lot) and in my case the 50+ were great (I bought the men's because they were on sale!), depending on what season it is, what I am eating (carbs, greens or not, fruits or not...) I add liquid B's and iron...I had my blood tested and need to add D and calcium too so that is my usual routine...I am a big believer in minerals which I believe we have problems absorbing so I add Cal/mag/zinc or other combos when needed (I really can tell when and if I am deficient, I had a fabulous GP who did blood testing at the begining of each season and then put me on specific suppliments for them like Copper/gold/silver going into winter for immunity)...
When I take any compact pills they travel through me like bullits so even the non chewables get cut or crushed...
