Viral infections, Gastritis

Hi, How many of u experience viral infections or gastritis? It seems I am good for awhile and then bam I am hit. It is always so severe. I am so nauseated I have to make myself vomit and this can go on for a few hours until I feel some relief. I am so worn out from it and while I am in this awful process I am shaking and have the chills and my chest starts to hurt. My dr's confirmed not a obstruction this time. I have had them in the past. They say I am vulnerable to sickness because of low immunity. This was no flu it was all digestive. Does anyone else force vomiting and what else do u do when u r so nauseated you can't function. Thx!!
