Hi. I'm using Rowasa enemas for some very mild pouchitis and I have a question about using them. I used them for years when I had UC but this is a whole different story now!
1) How far in do you put the tip? I can't do much before it hurts.
2) Given that I can't put it in too much, a lot leaks out the side and I wind up with a clean up job after. I figure I'm getting about half in, but that's just a guess.
It feels cold going in and I can feel that but then the problem is that I don't feel that it's leaking out so I keep going and can't tell how much actually got in. I know some does because I can see when I go to the bathroom that it's got that Rowasa color to it, if you know what I mean.
Any suggestions? I think that even the little bit that's getting in has made a difference but I'd like to figure out how to made it less of a chore to use and to get the most out of it.
I'm about four months from take down, by the way.
Thanks for any/all help!
