Use of Tylenol with J-pouch

Where could I find information about the use of Tylenol with a J-pouch? I have had the JP since 2003 and as I get older, am experiencing typical leg and hip aches. Is it OK to take 500mg (1 tablet) of fast acting acetaminophen daily or could that cause problems with the pouch? I would be interested in any scholarly articles on this topic as well.

i take Tylenol 500mg whenever I need for aches and pains. No issues with pouch ever.

i have avoided Nasids before surgery and really avoid them with the pouch.

Tylenol is fine with a J-pouch. A regular dose of 650 mg is likely to work better than 500 mg for most folks - I just take 1000 mg (an extra strength dose). Tylenol is generally only a problem if you have liver disease or drink appreciable amounts of alcohol.
