i had mine done at Cleveland Clinic and have had nothing but issues and surgeries since 2008.

I have read your posts through the years and your medical issues seem immensely complicated. I'm not sure if you are suggesting that Cleveland Clinic does not deserve to be number 1 on J pouches or number 2 overall because they cannot fix your issues, but clearly there is not always a simple fix for everyone's issues. There certainly hasn't been a simple fix for my chronic pouchitis issues, but I believe that I've had the best possible medical care in my area of the country, which has been from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City ranked number 9 on the list, and more recently by a J pouch specialist who was trained at the Cleveland Clinic, ranked number 2 on the list, who now works out of Yale New Haven hospital which is ranked number 17 on the list.

Just to use the car analogy that my surgeon likes to use, a Jaguar is a nice car but it's frequently in the shop getting fixed. This does not necessarily mean that it's a bad car. What it means is that it is a car that is subject to repeat performance and maintenance issues. Maybe that is the case with your pouch as well. And perhaps you would be in far worse shape if you treated with other doctors. Just something to consider, although I feel badly for you because you seem to have been through a lot with your J pouch.
