hello, I have a j pouch for 19 years , diagnosied with Sibo a few years ago, on & off Xiflaxin when needed.  Lately symptoms of  sibo increasing, but now have painful lymph node pain under my arms, first was left, now both underarms. I do not feel anything swollen, just achey pain on and off. Going to primary Dr. Tmw.

Does anyone know if Sibo travel to lymph nodes? Anybody else experience this?

Thank you

My Doctor thinks it may be inflammation from the small bowl bacteria   overgrowth . My lymph nodes are inflamed, but doesn’t feel hard lumps, just swollen & tender. I started Xiflaxin for 2 weeks, and if my symptoms do not disappear or improve I may have to have a node biopsy. But he wants to see if I can get rid of my bacteria overgrowth symptoms with the Xiflaxin, then that might be it. Xiflaxin cost me 2200.00 for 2 week does. I also do not the side affects I get from it but has helped in the past. I’m on day 4 of taking meds my symptoms of infection are less but my lymph node pain is not any better at all. So, I’ll see what happens. Very frustrating, living with a pouch, now also living with SIBO,.... and now to add this on....

thank you for asking .... no one online has mentioned they are dealing with this.
