I had a total 1-step Colectomy in 2000.  Since 2016 I have been twice diagnosed with Crohn's disease, by 2 different GI specialists.  In 2016 I tried Humira for about 4 months with no success.  Bloodwork later showed that the drug was not getting into my bloodstream.

I am due to see my GI in the next couple of weeks.  An suggestions?  Remicaide has come up in conversations.

I appreciate any and all input / advice.  If you have questions, don't hesitate.

THANKS

I would also recommend trying another biologic. One might work better for you than another.  I was on Humira, then Remicade (which gave me some not nice side effects), and am now on Entyvio which seems to be working.  Know that all biologics have some risk to them.  Study them out and choose the one you and your doctor believe will do the best for you.  Thankfully, these medicines are not an all or nothing.  Different meds help different people differently.  Don't be afraid to try something new to fight for  better results.
