I have to suggest a bidet, which reduces the role of TP to a gentle drying activity. The texture becomes irrelevant, but it has to be at least a little bit absorbant.

My two go to brands have been Angel Soft and Costco's Kirkland Brand. I have noticed that there are 15 Costcos in Australia and if you live near one of them, check it out as you can buy cheap and in bulk and in my opinion it's a good toilet paper not too rough on your anus.

Looking at the map of Australia, with the exception of the one in Perth, they all seem to be in the southeastern quadrant of Australia, which is where you seem to live and where most of the country's population is I presume.

I am fortunate that I live within a 45 minute drive of 2 different Costcos in the USA.
