tip of Jpouch weakness question ??

I was told by my GI, Dr Bo Shen that most pouch leaks are from the tip of the jpouch due to that being the weakest area of the pouch. My first pouch failed due to this and other issues but had a redo a year ago. I didn't ask him but I was just wondering, is there any way a lot of powerful gas could cause issues there if held in? Sometimes I have a lot of gas built up and I need to hold it till I get to a bathroom to release it. If I tried to fart off the toilet I would probably crap myself. I am just wondering now if holding it could cause a leak in the pouch in the tip area??

No im pretty sure it wouldnt Gas is painful because stretch receptors are the only pain receptors in the gut, but the pressure of the gas is still very low, compared to a tyre, a football etc.

After my takedown my bowel took a while to wake up, I was vomiting quite hard green bile, the doc said it was unlikely to cause any issues, he said the same about getting in and out of bed etc, that I couldn't do myself any harm, so I think a bit of gas isn't gonna cause the issue, even if it feels painful to us, its very subtle pressure as far as the bodies ability to physically cope with it.
