Magic,
I take an antihystamine 365days a yr...for severe allergies including food allergies...I take either Zyrtec (usually the generic brand) or Clariatin or any other one that my generalist thinks will work that day...according to my friends at the chemical labs that make the stuff, most are only one molecule different from their brothers...
I do not take those time released capsules (like those contact C pills from the 70's) but just the tiny little white or blue pills..or even benadryl...They all work just fine and if needed I cut pills in half but only crush if my phamacist tells me that I can (trust your pharmacist on this one)...anything that has that really thick coating on it (gentle on the stomach...disolves in the colon...not good for us) is a no-no for us...
Sharon
