Has anyone heard of the ties solution titanium implant from ostomycure

I remember reading about this procedure on the UOAA website a couple of years ago. I couldn't find but one entry that pointed to a facebook page about it, but that has since been deleted. The major thing that I took from the discussion was that the trials were on going and rejection seemed to be the stumbling block.
Oh and it was in Europe.
I had contacted them directly and posted my candidature for it (before I managed to get my valve working again)...they were on the Swedish trial at the time and had not started the European phase. I was on the waiting list but that was over 4yrs ago...no word since then.
I believe that I had originally read about it here through Martin in Germany (haven't heard from him in quite a while)...not sure where I filed the email.
If you are interested then do a search on the European sites.
No idea if or when European trials are starting up or if they have dropped the thing altogether.

The most recent news I could find on it was 2011. They were doing human trials at that point.

Company information can be found here, if you wanted to contact them. They are in Norway.

thank you,I will keep searching
If anyone is interested, there seems to have been some progress, with small trials running in several countries:
(Yes, it's a terrible company name.)
The drawcard for me would not be the cap, which I probably wouldn't bother with, but the fact that you don't have to use adhesives on your skin. That would change the ileostomy option from unbearable to pretty okay for me!
It can be fitted (implanted?) to new or existing ileostomies.
Sorry, it seems like the clinical trials planned are on hold due to you know what. Sigh. (I thought the people might have already gotten the implants.)
