I just got my bloodwork back showing that I am Thiamine deficient and have very low Riboflavin (B2). My B6 and B12 are normal... I was wondering if anyone else has encountered these deficiencies...
I'm not sure if I am deficient in those but I am always iron deficient. I'll have to inquire about the other vitamins. My dr. is always so focused on my iron issues he never told me if I had other things going on too.
Thiamine deficiency is common with malnutrition, so it makes sense that if you have chronic digestive problems, it will be a result. Trouble is, it is a real cause of neurologic damage, and peripheral neuropathy specifically. Supplementation turns it around quickly, but peripheral neuropathy can take months to repair.
