My ileostomy site wasn't pulled closed until right before I left the hospital. This morning I noticed there is some discharge, light yellow in color, but is odorless and I don't see any excessive redness. Is this normal or should I be worried? Thank you in advance for your feedback!

I think it takes a while to heal and you should be good. Congrats and best wishes!
Yeah, it doesn't seem like anything much so I wasn't too worried but want to make sure being that I'm about three hours from my doctor. Thank you for the response and well wishes, I am thrilled to be in the final recovery stage!
The final stretch! It may take some time....but there will come a day when you'll even be surprised with how well the body ends up adapting. Best!
