I have a synovial cyst surrounding L4 and L5 nerve roots. I've been having trouble using the toilet. Cramping and difficult to pass. Anyone else going through this and any advice

I did not have that exactly but i had something and still do. it flares up sometimes. I put hydrocortisone on it and it helps. You can ask your Doc
My cyst is on the nerve roots of my spinal cord. And it's a large one. I'm not sure if my trouble going is from that or if I have case of pouchitis. It feels different than that
Deb, you might find that the easiest way to work this out is with a course of Cipro.
I am sorry you are going through this. Are you getting treatment for that and are you following up with a doctor/gastro about this?
Sadly to report, no doctor.
Because of the cyst and pain I'm experiencing, I can't work. Can't afford a doctor. I was denied Medicaid, disability, and denied help on the market place.
Trying to deal with it the best way I can.

I am sorry to hear that, I hope things get better; do not be afraid of taking out a bank loan if you need to. I wish we had free healthcare like Canada and UK.
Deb, Cipro is inexpensive, if you know a doctor who would be willing to prescribe it for you to try (without the expense of an office visit). It won’t do anything for the cyst, of course, but it could help a lot if pouchitis is a contributor to your trouble.
