I have been through my final operation over 10 years and haven’t really had a problem gladly. Except Friday I was silly and ate too much sweet corn and have had a partial blockage for nearly two days. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to move this blockage? Or is it doctors for me again?

Keep walking. Walking is what stimulates bowel activity. Don't sit or lay down. Keep walking.
If fluids are still passing through, you may also stay on a fluid only diet for two or three days to help clear the partial blockage.

A laxative like Miralax was also often mentioned here. But you need do be carefull with dosage, as it produces additional diarrhea and helps to clear the bowel (only in case that you can still have bowel movements!). So drinking enough is also advisible then.
