Its main effect is to reduce the frequency of pouchitis. It’s very hard to tell if that’s actually happening, unless you are *very* prone to pouchitis.

I have a similar problem with Florastor. Since I’m on Cipro, Florastor might help prevent C. diff. But I’ve never had C. diff, so how would I know if it’s helping?
