Stone?

Hoping for some advice please.

I have had a j pouch for over 6 years now with longterm pouchitis for the last 4. I'm currently non-medicated except for daily Vivomixx (VSL#3) as I'm due a scope in a couple of weeks as I recently tested very high for fecalcalprotectin levels (doc wants a clean, non medicated look at my pouch).

The problem that's concerning me currently is that I'm not feeling empty and something felt odd inside when I bore down. A quick investigation with a digit met with something stone like that moves down towards my anus as I bear down. It feels too large to be an undigested food item and I've not been swallowing animal bones. Obviously I know I need to contact my specialist but does anyone have any experience or insight on this?

One possibility that comes to mind is a thrombosed (clotted) hemorrhoid. That’s just a guess, though.

I have had something similar, that blocked the exit. At a following pouchoscopy there was no sign of any problem. It may have been caused by dehydration, I didn't drink enough water. Or/and temporary inflammation. Things have come right since, not sure why.
