Stoma abscess yet again.....

Well... once again, two days before I'm supposed to have my J-pouch removed, I have a super hard crescent shaped mass forming around my stoma with pus coming out of my back-end and around the stoma. I'm 100% convinced at this point that I have got to have multiple fistulas. To add to this I'm super worried about going through the hell of getting my pouch removed only to have the core issue be fistulas. I see my surgeon tomorrow to have a consulatation pertaining to the pouch removal surgery. What should I ask him? What should I do? If I get this pouch taken out only to find out the problem is fistulas I'm going to lose my mind.
