Re: Stinging incision

I am about 2.5 months out of my reversal. I have recently started to experience stinging from where my old ostomy site is. It is almost healed. I have two internal stitches that stick out and get a little drainage. It stings when I press on it or my pants rub against it. Just wondering what it could be or it anyone else has experienced this! Thanks

I am about 3 months out and experienced stinging at about the same time as you. I thought it was odd as it hadn't been an issue prior. The surgeon told me it was normal and the stitches take a long time. However, I did not have any drainage so I can't comment on that. I would likely ask the surgeon.
