Sore Rectum

I am not going to the bathroom any more than usual (8 times a day) but my rectum is SORE as if I fell hard on my butt.  I also have inner pain that resembles bad cramps from constipation.

Does anyone experience this and what do you do to stop the pain.

I am sorry to hear that! I think it will pass over time, I had that before and it passed over time.

How did you fall???

Hi Lauren - I did not fall.  The pain I'm experiencing feels like I fell. I'm sure this is pouchitis, but feels different from past bouts with pouchitis.

Oh sorry! I misread it XD I do not know much about pouchitis, everything I have heard about it sounds painful and serious. I think you should get checked out, sounds a lot like cuffitis. Have you had cuffitis before???

I've been healing up from cuffitis, which caused me to have a very sore rectum. Dr prescribed canasa suppositories. Its getting better, slowly
