Skin Discoloration from bag years after take down

Just wondering if anyone has the problem of circular discoloration years after take down where the ileostomy paste used to go with the external pouch. It's been several years and no amount of scrubbing, exfoliating, etc. will get the skin discoloration to go away. Even a dermatologist can't figure it out. Any suggestions???
