Has anybody ever had SIBO? After taking a round of cipro for pouchitis i developed bacterial overgrowth. Was taking 2B in visbiome. I am now taking rifimaxim....just curious of any experiences...

How did the Rifaxamin work for you?
It worked great until I discontinued it. I may have been wrong about having sibo. I originally had pouchitis and was takin cipro...it may have not fully cleared the pouchitis. Now on another course of cipro and flagyl...feel much better...its a crap shoot sometimes
I agree on it being a crap shoot. There are times I think I've had SIBO and treated it as pouchitis, and probably times I thought I had a little bug, but it turned out to be pouchitis. It would be nice to not have to go straight to Levaquin/Flagyl if it is just a minor flare up.
