so had pouchoscopy today with Dr Shen and good things and a questionable thing. Good things first. No strictures, pouch itself had no inflammation and everything appeared normal. He was able to get the scope up past the ileostomy closure site where I had the severe inflammation a few weeks ago and he said looks fine and no inflammation now. No hemorrhoids. Now here is the questionable finding.
He stated at bottom of pouch I have a very mild distal pouch prolapse. Of course I freaked out and he told me it's nothing to worry about at all. He just kept saying don't worry and the pouch looked good.
Of course I'm sitting at home worrying about this prolapse now and what does it mean. Remzi's nurse emailed me earlier and said she read the scope report and was happy everything looked good. I guess I need to get Remzi to go over the report and explain it to me.
