Hello,

I’ve have been suffering from sharp pains on my right upper abdomen under the ribs, hurts more when I breathe the most. I have complained about this to my PCP, they’ve sent me for imaging but never can find anything to pin point the issue, anyone else experienced or is experiencing this? I’ve had my reversal in 2019 due to having FAP.

No gallstones, I’ve had my gallbladder taken out during my ileostomy surgery due to it having “died” per my PCP possible at the hands of my first surgery which was a bowel resection, I would say about a year after my 3rd surgery; the reversal that I started feeling this pain on and off, it usually stays around a week 1/2 tops. This pain comes and goes with serval months in between.

i would check liver labs. PSC is a rare liver disease where it affects your bile ducts. Its more common in people with UC. I have some bile ducts that are dilated in my liver but with PSC it usually is dilations as well as strictures. My doc just said yeah we are more suseptible to this disease but only if my liver labs go sky high he would look into other imaging on liver to see. past few years my liver labs have been ok but its always in the back of my mind...
