Hello, I'm a long time browser but a new poster. Anyways, I had my 2nd surgery at the Cleveland Clinic on the 3rd of this month. So far things are going well; however, I am having a problem achieving or maintaining an erection. I'm assuming this is temporary. The day I got home I was able to get a semi-erection and climax and actually got an erection in bed after my discharge. Unfortunate that seems to be short lived. I talked to my doctor and he recommended ED medication, but I'm wondering of this gets better as time goes on? My surgeon said impotence is very, very small, but I do not remember this problem after my 1st surgery.

I'm a 30 year-old male so this is fairly important to me. I find myself getting in a bad mood when the dysfunction occurs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The fact there was function immediately post op would lead me to believe this is temporary, and likely due to post op swelling and bleeding at is causing nerve trauma. Hope that is some consolation...

It took me weeks after surgery to get my groove back. I was nervous for a while, but it turned out fine.

Same here. . .took me several weeks to return to my, uhh, peak form.
