Seeing Dr. Remzi this month for the fistula

I've been going to pain management since April and it has controlled my pain very well. But they were wanting to know when I was seeing him again. Ironically enough they called the day we wanted to call: so I'm seeing the my amazing surgeon Dr.remzi on the 25. I'm fairly nervous bc I one don't want lectured from Vickie his nurse practitioner. But I know I need my fistula dealt with also so idk what is going to happen. Anyone here dealing with fistula? Bc I'm sick of mine! And none know what he's going to say if he wants an eua or if he doesn't or idk. Back to waiting.

Hi Danielle, sorry to hear you're still having pain and probs. w/the fistula. Still have my RV fistula, probably always will, but no pain typically with it. I see Dr. Hull up at Cleveland, and have nothing scheduled 'til next summer when the seton will be changed in an EUA and everything will be "looked at".

Very interested in following your experiences with your fistula and with Dr. Remzi. Thanks for checking in and letting us know what's up!

Hey danielle. nice to hear from you. Glad you got the pain under control but so sorry you still have that fistula. Hope Remzi can come up with a plan for you.

I'm actually driving to CC today to pain management for another nerve block and I'm seeing Remzi the week after you see him.

Been dealing with a fistula for almost seven years now. I have had over 30 surgeries to repair. Nothing has helped. I don't know what to do anymore. It's totally mind boggling. I have been to Remzi and Milsom. I am still under the care of both of them. I am at a total loss.

dawn58 seriously?!? I don't know what remzi will say tomorrow. I'm under pain management right now bc it is just a terrible pain in the ass (literally) I just don't know.
