My latest flexible sigmoidoscopy revealed cuff scarring.  My symptoms r burning and pain.  Eating some days isn't worth the pain.  My Dr who's from Temple University in Philadelphia suggested I take a test called anal manometry.  Anyone been thru this?  I'm afraid of this due to the pain I have and might not be able to handle it.  She put in touch with a pelvic floor therapist that I will talk to and c if she can help in any other way.  I already seen a therapist in Reading and was helped to a degree but it's all back again.  Apparently due to scar tissue there is no flexibility and I have to do all the work.  Ha Ha talking to the bowel if that don't take all...

It's a long road and your new normal will feel and be better at times and sometimes so bad you don't want to continue.  Keep going, each day is a new day to have a good day.  When the days are good take full advantage of.  We are here to support one another and it is comforting to exchange our feelings and views.

So much good info on this site.  I've learned a lot.

God Bless
