Sad news re Barbara Baker

For you old timers on the forum who knew Barbara Baker -- I am very sorry to say that she passed away on Thursday morning (April 6). In addition to u.c., she had polycythemia vera, a blood cancer that causes over proliferation of red blood cells. She had a stroke on Tuesday night (while we were on the phone) and was taken to Stanford hospital by her partner, where she died on Thursday. She was a wonderful person and this is a great loss to those of her who knew her. I met her through this website.
