rowasa into pouch with hole??

Shen prescribed it and didnt seem concerned but seems strange. My jpouch is disconnected due to a hole . Im dealing with diversion pouchitis now and having bleeding issues. Dr Shen prescribed Rowasa enemas to help. My concern is wont the Rowasa escape through the hole and into my body? isnt that cause for concern of infection???
