Did anyone who got pregnant with a J-pouch worry about ectopic pregnancy or have it happened to them?

I unfortunately had an ectopic pregnancy a few years ago. I did not know that one of my tubes were blocked. We ended up doing a round of IVF and it worked the first try. We are expecting a girl in June and I have never felt so fantastic!!
hmm...not sure if the risk is increased or not. i know that it can be much more difficult to get pregnant due to blocked tubes, but i would imagine if you can get pregnant ok, this wouldn't be too much of a concern. i really don't know though!
I am 6 weeks pregnant and last week the scan showed nothing in my uterus. Either it was too early (but my hcg levels were 9130!), blighted ovum or ectopic. I am VERY scared that it is ectopic. In addition to having a JPouch, I take blood thinners for a couple of conditions. If I have an ectopic and my tube ruptures I could bleed to death before anyone could stop the bleeding. I got back next wedn to see how my levels are and, probably, get another scan... I did not have any problem getting pregnant but I am worried that the egg moved too slowly out of the tube because of possible scar tissue and implanted in the tube...

It is a possibility.
I think that your best bet is to talk to your obgyn about your fears and have her/him monitor you closely.
I agree with you, it is not a joke and your doctor should take it very seriously.
