Hey all,

I just had my reversal surgery 12 days ago. Everytime I go to the bathroom I have to rinse with water AND apply a cream. I am currently applying Zincofax. If I skip rinsing or applying cream just once I immediately get the burning and irritated skin.

Did anybody else experience this? Any ideas when things will improve?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Smiler

This cream may have zinc in it. Zinc will burn if your skin is already irritated. Try some other cream like A+D or Desitin. Make sure area is completely dry before you apply cream. Otherwise, moister will get trapped between skim and cream and will irritate skin even more.

Hope you feel better soon.

That's normal for first few months - gets better over time.

Many on this site use Calmoseptine, personally I tried a few things but found applying Vaseline after each movement or went I felt sore worked best for me. Three years later I still use it when there is any irritation.

Hope that helps you!

(Do you mind saying who did your surgery)?
