has anyone experienced Refractiory Pouchitis? Symptoms? How was it diagnosed? What is the treatment?

Refractory pouchitis is just pouchitis that won’t respond to treatment. It shouldn’t be diagnosed until all reasonable treatments have been tried. The only remaining definitive treatment at that point would be pouch removal, but that would depend on the severity of the symptoms. “Antibiotic refractory pouchitis” is just unresponsive to antibiotics, but in lots of those cases biologics will do the trick.
You might want to try biologics at this point. Remicade might be the best, quite a few people here take it, Good luck hon
I was on Remicade from 2012-2015 and it was amazing until I developed antibodies.
What about other biologics?

Wow, I never knew that could happen. Our bodies are very adaptable so that makes sense. Like Jan said, maybe others can help. Hope you get better hon.
