Call his nurse and ask her what it means. You have a right to all of your medical records and since s/he didn't explain this to you the nurse needs to If the nurse doesn't know the doctor needs to talk to you.

Have you googled it? I'd do that first but still call them instead.

I collected all of my medical records to take to Mayo last year so I read them. I was surprised at some of the things I read. I liked the part where my GI said I was a nice middle aged lady Wink Did you know they write stuff like that down? What if I was a cranky old battle ax?

te isn't it funny to read that stuff. I've been collecting my records and it was quite amusing reading their "everyday" comments about me...pleasant, thin, outgoing....But Even the one that said i was "irritable" when a stupid resident and then fellow couldn't get my medical history straight for the life of them and I blew up at the doctor for wasting my time!

KK,
I looked up "rectal proidentia" and it is a big deal, in my mind. Roughly it means complete rectal prolapse that leaves the patient incontinent. Or it could be caused by hemorrhoids. BIG difference. Pelvic Floor therapy was one of the treatments.

Another thing that I didn't know about. Another possibility of something to add it to the "things that are not causing my problems" list.

Did he discuss anything, like Pelvic Floor Therapy, with you?
