I have been experiencing rectal pressure for about a month, on and off. It does feel like a bowel movement but nothing happens, i'm wondering if any of you would have some infos

I recently had the first two stages of the j-pouch surgery and I experience rectal pressure too despite having an ileostomy. I think it's due to the mucous being produced in the pouch but I am not able to eliminate it at will. Until, I can get it out the pressure keeps bothering me too.
I have a jpouch for about a year now, i did have the same feeling with the ileostomy.
It's been worse in the last week, a lot of BM.
I guess i will call my surgeon and see what's going on, after the cancer i'm really scare to go in case they find something...

I have found levsin to help with this.
Is Levason a Rx or is it over the counter? I have it too the rectal pressure and can't stand it! It's been a year in a half since my surgery and I am still having it.if I could take something to relieve my symptoms that would be great.
