Recovery Time for Seton Implant?

It's been ten years since I had my seton implants and I'm due for another one this Thursday. Does anyone remember how long a typical recovery is? My surgeon said about one week and that it really had to do with pain management. Any info would be appreciated.

Thought I was getting the seton implant today but my surgeon went in and opened up the area more. I guess he said though it was a deep abscess, it wasn't a fistula. I hope he's right...From the looks of it and from feeling around down there, it does appear that the nodule is gone, replaced by a pit. Got my on Flagyl to dry it up. Hopefully, this is the end of this ordeal.
