Recovery from takedown #2

I just had another bowel obstruction. This time it was a bit more severe as the bowel was necrotic just above the j-pouch and I lost about 18 inches of small bowel and have another ileostomy. Also, became septic during surgery and ended up in the ICU intubated for a day (never,ever going back there again!). If all goes well, I am scheduled for take down 12 weeks post op. If surgeon gets in there and I am not healthy enough, may have to have another ileostomy for 8 weeks. My question is: Does anyone have experience with the adjustment period after this type of takedown? I remember, after my j-pouch creation (2 step) and subsequent takedown, it was a long adjustment period. Thanks. I really appreciate any feedback.
