As my surgeon said would happen, I need to wear a pad at night.  I have been using the Always Discreet underwear, but it is kind of pricey.  I tried the Depends underwear, but the pad is clearly designed only for urine and is completely in the wrong place.  I have considered trying some of the items that are merely some sort of pad, but I seem to need the gathered legs.  I was just wondered what other users have had success with before purchasing more, and if anyone has any suggestions for ways to save money.  So far I am using all the coupons I can and earning rewards points at my pharmacy

Hello, MCH.  On Amazon you can buy Always Panty Liners, box of 160 for $17, and other box sizes, liner lengths, and prices. They are liners, but hold leakage well. After my reversal I needed them especially at night. You can wear two liners, end-to-end, to make them longer so you have coverage at the back, as well as the front. Put them in any configuration you need (even apply two liners at your back end, fanned out, for more coverage. I did not need heavy-duty, thick pads. The liners absorbed better and faster than thick pads. They have a lined backing and sides so liquid doesn't seep through to clothing before you have a chance to replace. I always carried extras in my bag for changing during the day.

I think these may be appropriate for many of us, and just discovered them.   Of course, I'm not using them "as designed," but really like the coverage and the fact they are not uncomfortable in the least.  Check out Depends Men's Shields Light.  They are a triangular shape that seems to work very well for me!  Just insert them backwards.
