Are you guys able to eat quinoa?

Many of us can eat quinoa - I certainly can. Some of us can't. And some of us probably can but got an obstruction after eating quinoa and never want to risk having that happen again.
I can eat quinoa. I was afraid to eat quinoa right after reversal but now I can eat it without worry. I don't eat it with anything starchy or heavy such as potatoes or bread in the same meal. I would worry that mix could cause a blockage. I'll eat it with a protein (fish, chicken) and soft vegetable, and it takes the place of bread or rice or potato. Sometimes I'll mix it with chopped tomato, peeled finely chopped cucumber, feta cheese, herbs, vinagrette to make a cold salad. It is excellent fibre. Maybe try a very small amount (1/2 cup cooked) and see how it goes?
I can eat it but don't particularly like it. It is a good carb substitute, but these days I use mashed cauliflower in place of bread or rice or potato.
Yes, with no issues, though if you do eat a lot of it, it can cause bulking - depending or your transit time and motility, that can either be a good or bad thing for you. If you're concerned, cooking the quinoa a little longer than the recommended time generally makes it softer and therefore a little easier to pass.
Yes! And thanks to my adhesion surgery a few years ago I can eat salads again
