Questions for my surgeon

Can you help me make a list of questions for my surgeon?

I currently am on my fourth ileostomy and am highly considering a kock pouch. I have read all the peer reviewed research so I know a lot of the details — how it’s done, rate of complications, that sort of stuff. But I am writing down everything else I can think of.

what would you add to the list?

Perhaps ask: where you'd have to go should there be future complications; what are chances for success given your past surgical history; what would he advise a family member with your similar medical history; where is this surgery performed and who are the best surgeons; -- Rose --

Thanks, Rose. I know he would be doing the surgery and my hospital. Good idea on the past surgical history.
